​​Lent begins this week with Ash Wednesday: a time of deeper conversion through penitential practices. There will be two Masses on Ash Wednesday: at 9:45 AM and 7:00 PM.

Archbishop’s Fund for Mission Advancement

Special Collection (February 21-22)

On the First Sunday of Lent, we take up the Diocesan & Missionary Works special collection in support of the Archbishop’s Fund for Mission Advancement. This fund enables Archbishop Damphousse to respond prayerfully to needs and opportunities that further the mission of the Church, especially here in our Archdiocese, on behalf of all the faithful.  Most funds raised remain within our diocese, strengthening initiatives related to evangelization and outreach, ministry to youth and families, Catholic education and campus ministry, and other charitable works supporting community needs. Last year, over $60,000 was raised. This year, our goal is $100,000. Thank you for your generosity and for helping our local Church to Go Out, Go Deep, Go Together.

The Poor Man's Supper will be at 6:00 PM on Friday, 27 March. It will feature soup, good bread, good cheese, pickles and desserts. A free-will offering will go to the Knights of Columbus 40 Cans for Lent initiative. Stations of the Cross will follow the supper.
